In February 2020, Auxergen received a Notice of Allowance for it's first family of biopesticides: CitriPhage / XanthaPhage: engineered bacteriophages which are designed to inhibit and destroy Xanthamonas citri., and more than two dozen other sub species of Xanthamonas bacteria, including citrus canker, rice blight and diseases of banana, soybean, cassava, wheat, pepper, and brassica vegetable (cabbage, broccoli, etc.) crops. This is good news for farmers who can call on a new, non-chemical option to improve crop health, quality and yields.
